Accessibility of Youtube

I used to be able to go to the mobile version of Youtube and search for videos, update my profile information, read and write messages to users, comment on videos, and upload videos and edit their titles, descriptions, tags, and availability settings, as well as delete them. Since July of 2013, I have been able to do none of this. The Mobile site now looks like the main version, which has changed from clunky to almost completely inaccessible. Is there any client that will enable me to do these things, or am I just better having a sighted friend delete my account? This is really frustrating, as I made several new videos that I wish to upload, and I also want to edit a few older ones, but cannot now do any of this without sighted assistance. Any help would be sincerely appreciated. Alternatively, if anyone knows of either another accessible video or audio site that I can use, please let me know. My videos are of me reading poems, essays, and stories that I write, as well as sharing random thoughts. I always cover the camera, so they're really only audio in any case.

As an update, this was first posted on Klango, where a nother user said that he uses NVDA and Firefox and has not experienced these issues. Has anyone else here seen them, and if not, then how do you navigate with the new layout?

Its not perfect but it works well enough.
I cant help with uploading vidios or how you might comment on things already posted.
I've never had an account or did that before.

Thanks. Viewing videos is fairly easy. It's the rest that gives me problems.

I was told that yes, it is possible to complete these tasks with a screen reader. So I tried to upload a video with NVDA and Firefox, but couldn't find the upload button. But I found it with Internet Explorer. I don't remember if I was using NVDA or SA TO GO at the time. Regardless, I can't seem to delete any videos. I tried a demo of JFW, and discovered that there was an action button of some kind. It said something about a collappsed or pop-up menu, but when I hit enter on the button, after selecting the videos that I wanted to delete, nothing happened. NVDA won't even read the button. I haven't tried editing tags, titles, or dscriptions of videos, nor editing my profile. So it seems that I can upload now, if nothing else. But to do other things, I still need sighted assistance.

if enter doesn't work on that menu, try spacebar instead.

I'm fairly certain that I did, with the same result. But I'll try again.

just for the sake of it, i tried log on to m.youtube.com. It seems rather accessible to me with both IE and fireworks using jaws and NVDA, and voiceover on Mac. there are couple of buttons on the top page, one call "upload button" and another call "sign in button".
When i go sign in, it ask for my email address and password that associate with my Google account.
So, i'm not sure the problems you have had...

Check the url. Is it sending you to the actual mobile site or to the main one. When I type

http://m.youtube.com

it brings me to

http://www.youtube.com

If it is, indeed, working from the mobile site, this is a good thing. I was able to access it, by using Firefox and changing my user agent. But with NVDA, at least, it looked very inaccessible, with various unlabeled buttons.
